This he does with a constant, musical soundtrack that evokes the physical as well as emotional landscape alongside an unflinching capacity to emote on stage. The performance Sheep is a pleasant surprise when I look at all that the theatre has to offer for toddlers. With great passion and conviction Etienne Borgers takes his audience into a world of sounds, music and singing. From a too small blue closet he is trying to reach a sheep. It is the sheep his birthday and all this brings about some hilarious problems, because between the closet and the sheep there is a highway filled with sounds. Object and sounds seamlessly overflow. The jabbertalk, the music and the songs make the performance heartwarming, a laugh and a tear go hand in hand.
