rust

RUST is the tale of two pirate radio stations anchored in the same murky coastal waters. One transmits from an ageing lightship; its arch-rival broadcasts from a submarine lurking just beneath the oil-slicked surface.
Something has to give. Or be taken.

RUST is a fast-moving story of truth and treachery, piracy and passion, sex, death and vinyl. Trademarks of Green Ginger’s theatremongery; grotesque puppets, animated sets and shiploads of absurd humour are welded into a dark comic-book vision of low-life on high seas.

Green Ginger is an award-winning UK export and is currently celebrating 25 years of touring its brand of lunatic fringe theatre throughout the world in thirteen languages. The Company is delighted to present the fourth in its trilogy of tall tales by short people for national and international touring.
